Advocacy
Kentucky Habitat for Humanity recently launched 2020 HOUSING VISION, a three-year, multi-partner, collaborative affordable housing initiative by housing providers working together to improve the lives of Kentuckians in need.
Extended Learning
Each year, KyHFH with funding through Kentucky Housing Corporation, HFHI and the USDA RD RCDI grant provides educational learning opportunities for our affiliates across Kentucky in the format of statewide conferences, one-on-one’s and regional meetings.
Innovative Construction
Serving very low income Kentuckians in an innovative homeownership program which adapts container homes and tiny homes into affordable and super energy efficient homes.
Long-Term Recovery & Assistance
We help to provide relief by assisting the affiliate in all of the nitty gritty aspects–we are their fiduciary agent in a sense.
Veterans Assistance
Repair Corps, funded by The Home Depot Foundation, enables local Habitat for Humanity affiliates to help veterans build strength, stability and independence through critical home repairs on owner-occupied homes.
Solar Shares
The Solar Shares Program enables Kentucky Habitat for Humanity to further empower low-income families and ensure they have a decent and affordable place to call home, and through this partnership with LG&E/KU we are able to assist our clients while also demonstrating our commitment to the environment and community by supporting this renewable energy.
